Steve began his Plumbing Apprenticeship in 2003 with experience from his hometown, South West Rocks.

Keen to further his career in the industry, Steve moved to Sydney/Newcastle and based himself around large reputable plumbing companies with standout multi story developments, commercial and industrial projects. This experience provided opportunities into leading hand roles while still an apprentice.

Steve’s progression into leadership roles of Site Supervisor followed which deepened his exposure to the design process behind the practical element of plumbing. The past few years has been spent as part of the Project Management team on multiple job sites of varying size and complexities where Steve began delving deeper into the design and consulting process which led him to the position he is currently at today.

Steve found his fit with in the WDG team enjoying a great work culture which supports professional progression through education and recognition of invaluable industry experiences and a flexible workplace which assists with work/life balance, family friendly in an easy-going atmosphere.

WDG has likeminded colleagues within the team with a wealth of knowledge and experience to share and bounce ideas off.

Qualifications

• Studying Diploma of Hydraulic Services, TAFE NSW
• Construct NSW – Producing Compliant Designs, Waterproofing design Principles, Fire and Rescue NSW Regulatory pre-, Multi-disciplinary Design Integration
• Work Health & Safety for Supervisors-WHSPC002.
• Licensed Plumber Drainer Gasfitter, LP Gasfitter and Roof Plumber. Qualified at a Supervisor level.
• Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services
• Backflow and TMV Certification
• Certificate III in Plumbing and Services
• Confined Spaces Certification
